Police constable arrested for killing supervisor in Nakuru » Capital News

NAIROBI, Kenya, Aug 8 – A police constable attached to the K9 formation at the Nakuru Dog Section has killed his supervisor.

Nakuru County Police Commander, Samuel Ndanyi said the officer identified as Jackson Konga killed his senior by a single shot to the head.

He said the incident at Section 58 in Nakuru Town East at between 4:00am and 5:00am.

Ndanyi the culprit has been unarmed and is being held at the Nakuru Central Police Station awaiting further investigations.

He added that the body of the senior officer, a sergeant was removed to Nakuru County Mortuary pending post mortem.

The incident was report by one of the police officers within the facility after he heard gun shots.

The two were on duty when the shooting occurred.
