Premier bank opens 18th branch in Eastleigh


NAIROBI, Kenya, Nov 30 – Premier bank has opened up its branch in Nairobi’s Eastleight area in a bid to scale up its presence in the country.

The new branch located in Baraka Baazar becomes the 19th of its branches in the country.

Speaking during the launch, Premier Chief Executive Officer Osman Dualle observed that the move is anchored on providing value for its customers in Eastleight as well as taping into the areas vibrant economy.

“We expect to tap into the ecomomy of Eastleight.Our Baraza baazar branch promises to offer innovative and tailor made products and services.We are commited to ensuring that our customer experience are top tier service delivery,” he said.

The bank has plans to open up branches in Nairobis iconic Global Trade Center in Westlands area, the Imaara mall along Mombasa roadas well as the BBS mall in Eastleight later on in the year.

The lender’s CEO added that the bank is keen on providing tailor made finanvial services to its customers as well as SME’s guided by the Islamic financial architecture.

Dualle adds that the lender is keen on providing affordable and tailor made financial products that meets the target of its islamic market base.

The lender recently took over Community bank in March this year and it plans to increase its branches to 25 next year.

The bank is a privately owned Sharia compliant commercial bank incorporated in the country in April this year after the acquisition of the majority share of the first Community bank.

It was also approved by the Central Bank of Kenya in May this year to trade under its new name.
